Indian aquaculture tech firm AquaExchange raised $8M to expand globally and boost farm efficiency with AI and IoT.
AquaExchange, an Indian aquaculture tech company, raised $8 million in a Series B round co-led by Endiya Partners and Factor Analytics, with participation from Accion Ventures and Oceans 14 Capital.
The funding will support international expansion, domestic growth, and deeper integration in upstream aquaculture.
The company’s platform, serving over 80,000 acres of shrimp farms across five Indian states and three countries, uses IoT, AI, and embedded finance to improve farm efficiency and crop success rates.
It claims to automate 25% of India’s shrimp farms, with projected FY26 revenue of Rs 275 crore and a path to EBITDA profitability.
The company plans to expand into Southeast Asia, diversify into other protein categories, and may pursue a public listing within three years.
