A Florida teen was arrested on his 18th birthday for stealing $19.62 worth of cigarettes, allegedly under the influence of mushrooms and claiming to be God.

Tyler Voisard, a Florida man, was arrested on March 4, shortly after turning 18, for allegedly stealing two packs of cigarettes from a Davenport 7-Eleven. Authorities say he was under the influence of mushrooms, told deputies he was God before fleeing, and was apprehended outside the store. He faces multiple charges including burglary, theft, drug possession, and tampering with evidence. Methamphetamine was found in his sock at the Polk County Jail. The stolen cigarettes were valued at $19.62. The arrest occurred on his birthday. He remains in jail.
