A 38-year-old Dublin man, Ramiz Idrizi, was convicted at Ballymena Magistrates' Court of attempting to sexually assault a girl under 13 and assaulting a male passenger during an EasyJet flight from Paris to Belfast on November 14, 2025.
He was also found guilty of being drunk on the aircraft and using abusive language toward crew.
The incident occurred during the final stages of the four-hour flight after Idrizi consumed most of five bottles of wine he purchased onboard.
Witnesses reported he made lewd remarks and reached toward the child, prompting intervention.
Idrizi admitted to intoxication and offensive language but denied touching the girl or spitting.
He was acquitted of assaulting her mother.
Sentencing is set for April 28, 2026.
