Developer Mark Leonard drops legal challenge against 934-home affordable housing project in Dublin.
A legal challenge by developer Mark Leonard against a 934-home affordable housing project at the former Central Mental Hospital site in Dundrum, south Dublin, has been withdrawn.
His lawyers informed Judge David Holland the judicial review was dropped, with no financial or other benefits noted.
The development, approved by An Coimisiún Pleanála and managed by the Land Development Agency, is part of a major state effort to expand affordable housing in Dublin.
Leonard had previously challenged a similar project under a now-canceled fast-track scheme, a case that remains ongoing with the LDA defending the decision despite a prior concession by the planning authority.
