Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented a ₹1.11 lakh crore budget for 2026-27 on March 9, 2026, marking the first time the state budget was delivered on the same day as the Governor’s address.
The budget, centered on the GYAN model, prioritizes the poor, youth, farmers, and women, with major allocations for housing, food security, skill development, agriculture, and women’s welfare.
It reflects a 10% increase from the previous year, as the state’s GSDP rose to ₹3.82 lakh crore in 2024-25.
The session, held in Gairsain, featured heightened security and Dhami’s dual role as both Chief Minister and Finance Minister.
