UK bike delivery firm Pedal and Post collapsed in January, ending 14 years of operations, costing 60 jobs, and disrupting hundreds of deliveries.
Pedal and Post, a UK bicycle delivery company based in Oxford and operating in London, collapsed into liquidation in January after nearly 14 years, leaving 60 jobs lost and hundreds of parcels undelivered.
The company, which aimed to reduce emissions and traffic, ceased operations following the loss of a major client, disrupting services for customers using its partner, Evri.
Evri confirmed temporary delivery issues but said it has reorganized local operations and restored normal service, issuing apologies and refunds where needed.
Joint liquidators were appointed, and the company’s founder cited the closure as a setback for sustainable urban delivery, though he emphasized the model’s long-term viability.
