TMK Energy hit a record gas output at its Mongolian project in late February 2026, driven by the LF-07 well and consistent water extraction.
TMK Energy set a new daily gas production record at its Gurvantes XXXV Coal Seam Gas Project in Mongolia, reaching over 900 cubic meters (31,800 scfd) in late February 2026, a near 400% increase from recent levels and a ninefold rise since August 2025.
The surge, driven by the LF-07 well, follows a 50% jump in early March production compared to February and is attributed to consistent water extraction of about 500 barrels per day, which aids gas desorption.
The company plans to expand production with additional wells and develop a modular gas-fired generator, with talks underway to supply electricity to the local grid and revive a deal with German firm Jens Energie.
The project’s strong performance has boosted TMK’s share price by 26.9% to 16.5 cents, reflecting growing confidence in Mongolia’s first commercial coal seam gas initiative.
TMK Energy alcanzó una producción récord de gas en su proyecto mongol a finales de febrero de 2026, impulsada por el pozo LF-07 y la extracción constante de agua.
