Rashida Jones named CEO of Piers Morgan’s Uncensored after $30M funding, aiming to expand content and creator-focused platforms.
Rashida Jones, former MSNBC president, has been named CEO of Piers Morgan’s media company Uncensored, following a $30 million funding round from investors including Raine Ventures, Antenna Group, and the Reuben Brothers.
The company, valued at $130 million, plans to expand its content and platform offerings under Jones’ leadership, focusing on a creator-first approach and new content verticals.
Jones, who previously led MSNBC’s streaming growth and founded Imagine Strategies, will also serve as a fellow at Arizona State University’s Knight Center.
Uncensored has already launched “History Uncensored,” hosted by Bianca Nobilo, as part of its diversification strategy.
