A plane crash in Indian Trail, North Carolina, on Saturday afternoon injured two people aboard.
The aircraft, which took off from Goose Creek Airport, crashed on the 5800 block of North Rocky River Road around 2:00 p.m. One passenger was ejected and airlifted to a hospital, while the pilot was rescued from the wreckage and transported by ambulance.
Both were alive when emergency responders arrived.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the incident, but the cause remains unknown.
