Jai Ram Thakur accuses Himachal Pradesh's Congress government of corruption, mismanagement, and favoritism during its over three-year rule.
Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, now Leader of Opposition, accused the Congress-led government of mismanagement, favoritism, and governance failures during its over three-and-a-half-year tenure.
He claimed decisions were made by a "friends' circle" rather than the cabinet, criticized the Rajya Sabha nomination of a wealthy district president as cronyism, and alleged misuse of central funds, stalled projects, corruption, and a deteriorating business climate.
Thakur also opposed plans to lease or sell HPTDC hotels, calling it "putting Himachal on sale," and cited internal party tensions and a "climate of fear" as signs of instability.
