Israel has conducted a major wartime airlift, receiving about 1,000 tons of weapons and military supplies via roughly 50 cargo flights over the past 10 days, according to its Defense Ministry. The operation, led by the Defense Procurement Directorate and involving multiple military and civilian agencies, supports ongoing operations under Operation Roaring Lion and preparations for future phases amid regional tensions. The airlift, carried out under challenging conditions, is expected to expand. Simultaneously, Israel’s satellite systems are providing real-time intelligence and targeting support. Defense officials, including Director General Amir Baram, are pushing top defense firms to ramp up production of key weapons and interceptors, citing lessons from more than two years of conflict.
