A 22-year-old Iowa man is accused of killing three women in Utah for their cars and money, then fleeing across three states before being caught in Colorado.
A 22-year-old Iowa man, Ivan Miller, is a suspect in the March 4 triple homicide of three women in Wayne County, Utah, after staying at the Snuggle Inn in Loa for about 26 to 27 hours beginning late Feb. 28, following a collision with an elk. He checked out early on March 2 and was later identified by authorities, who said he admitted to killing the women for their cars and money and for dragging their bodies. The victims were found shot—two at a trailhead south of Torrey and one in Lyman. Miller was tracked across Southern Utah, northern Arizona, and New Mexico before being apprehended in Colorado and charged with three counts of first-degree aggravated murder. The Snuggle Inn owners expressed shock and sorrow, stating they cooperated fully with law enforcement and that one victim was a family friend. The investigation remains ongoing.
