Poland selects Alicja with "Prayer" to compete in Eurovision 2026.
Poland has chosen Justyna Steczkowska, performing under the name Alicja, to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.
She won the national final held at TVP Studios in Warsaw, with the public vote determining the winner.
The contest, hosted by Artur Orzech, featured eight acts, and the result was confirmed with a backup jury in case of a tie or low turnout.
Alicja’s song, “Prayer,” will be performed in the second half of the first semi-final on May 12.
Poland, which debuted in 1994 and has reached the final seven times since returning in 2014, continues its Eurovision participation with this selection.
Other countries, including Portugal, Sweden, Montenegro, and the Czech Republic, have also announced their 2026 representatives, though specific details on their entries remain limited.
