India's Parliament to debate synchronizing national and state elections on March 9, 2026.
The Joint Parliamentary Committee will meet on March 9, 2026, to discuss the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-Ninth Amendment) Bill and the Union Territories Laws (Amendment) Bill, aimed at implementing "One Nation, One Election" to synchronize national and state elections.
