Belfast to host All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil 2027, the first in Northern Ireland to do so twice.
The All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will return to Belfast in 2027 for the second consecutive year, making it the first location in Northern Ireland to host the event twice.
Scheduled for August 2–9, the festival is expected to draw over 800,000 visitors and celebrate Irish music, song, dance, and language.
Organized by Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann with support from Belfast City Council and Ards CCE, the event highlights Belfast’s status as a UNESCO City of Music and its vibrant cultural infrastructure.
Officials praised the Fleadh’s economic and cultural benefits, noting strong community engagement and growing interest in traditional Irish music.
The 2027 edition will coincide with Comhaltas’s 75th anniversary.
