Women are leading the global expansion of the Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP), promoting respect, excellence, and friendship in schools and communities.
In India, OVEP has reached over 12 million children across 65,000 schools since 2024, with women educators driving initiatives in rural anganwadi centers, conducting over 1,200 sessions and boosting girls’ participation.
Partnerships with organizations like the Abhinav Bindra Foundation Trust have engaged nearly 250,000 youth, training over 23,000 women as educators.
Globally, women are shaping OVEP’s reach: 16 women in Saudi Arabia became ambassadors and launched sports initiatives; in Senegal, women are advancing OVEP ahead of the 2026 Youth Olympics, with girls making up nearly half the participants; in Italy, women make up 65% of the Gen26 teacher network, helping train over 2,000 educators.
