A Tacoma man was arrested after a bomb and meth were found in his car during a Port Orchard store incident.
A 25-year-old transient from Tacoma was arrested Thursday night after deputies responding to reports of erratic behavior at a Port Orchard convenience store found an improvised explosive device in his vehicle.
The Washington State Patrol bomb squad safely neutralized the device, and officers also discovered a small amount of methamphetamine during a search.
The suspect was taken to Saint Michael’s Medical Center for treatment of a serious health issue.
Evidence has been sent to the Kitsap County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review on potential criminal charges.
