Starting April 1, 2026, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will manage day-to-day maintenance for residential flats in complexes built between 2010 and 2021, collecting quarterly fees from owners for services like security, cleaning, lift and electrical upkeep, and minor repairs.
The program will continue until 80% occupancy is reached or a residents’ welfare association (RWA) is registered, whichever comes later.
The DDA will pay service charges for unsold units.

Flats allotted under 2023 and later schemes include first-year maintenance costs, with regular charges starting afterward.
