The 41st Los Angeles Marathon, themed "Stadium to the Stars," takes place on Sunday, March 8, starting at Dodger Stadium and finishing in Century City.
Over 27,000 runners are expected to travel 26.2 miles through downtown LA, Hollywood, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills, with wheelchair and hand-cycle participants beginning at 6:30 a.m. Extensive road and freeway ramp closures begin as early as 3 a.m., affecting major streets and ramps on the 101, 405, and 110 freeways, with most closures ending by 3 p.m.
The race is sold out, and officials urge runners and spectators to plan ahead, use official routes, and rely on real-time traffic updates.
NBC4, Telemundo 52, and streaming platforms will broadcast the event.
