Oklahoma Sooners third baseman Nelly McEnroe-Marinas will miss the rest of the 2026 season after tearing her ACL during a game against Southeastern Louisiana. The redshirt sophomore, who had started 16 of 19 games and was hitting .462 with three home runs and 16 RBIs, had previously earned First-Team All-SEC honors in 2025. Her absence has prompted head coach Patty Gasso to rely on a mix of freshmen, including Sydney Barker, Lexi McDaniel, and Allyssa Parker, who have shown strong performances at multiple positions.
