MIFF 2026 honored innovative children's furniture designs from global creators, spotlighting Malaysia’s leadership in sustainable, creative manufacturing.

The Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) 2026 awarded top design honors at its ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, recognizing innovation in furniture for children aged 5 to 9 under the theme 'Playful. Practical. Purposeful: Furniture for Generation Alpha.' Winners were selected from 138 entries by designers under 40, with Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation taking top prize, Universiti Sains Malaysia earning a Special Mention for its STACKABLOCK design, and Eastern Decorator Sdn Bhd and Luxury Sleep Products Sdn Bhd winning presentation and excellence awards. The event, held from March 4–7 across two venues with 17 halls, drew 700 exhibitors and 20,000 international buyers from 140 countries, reinforcing Malaysia’s global role in sustainable, design-driven furniture manufacturing.
