Marina Noriega, 23, was indicted on custodial interference and second-degree burglary charges after allegedly abducting 2-year-old Kehlani Rogers from her Avondale home on February 20, 2026.
The child was found unharmed at a Phoenix QuikTrip on February 22, after a citizen-led roadblock involving Camelback Moving employees and a security guard stopped Noriega’s vehicle.
An Amber Alert had been issued following the disappearance.
Noriega, who claimed the child was her biological daughter, admitted she had no right to take her and expressed remorse.
She is held on a $250,000 cash bond and faces arraignment on March 11, with a trial set for July 8.
