A 38-year-old Kenosha man, Andrew Stanton, pleaded guilty in March 2026 to threatening to kill a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer, based on TikTok videos posted in August 2025.
The videos, which included calls for violent retaliation and images of weapons, were viewed by hundreds of thousands and targeted a federal agent serving on the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force.
Prosecutors say the threats aimed to interfere with the officer’s duties and were in response to an FBI outreach.
Stanton faces up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.
Sentencing is scheduled for June 18, 2026.
