Israeli war with Iran sparks safety fears, yet most remain optimistic and support military action.
A survey of 3,217 Israeli adults conducted Feb. 26–March 5, 2026, found that concern for personal safety nearly doubled to 45% after Israel’s war with Iran began on March 1, while national security worries rose to nearly half of respondents.
Despite heightened anxiety, optimism about Israel’s future increased from 37% to 50%, and 63% supported military actions against Iran, though 24% opposed them.
The findings reflect a population enduring fear and disruption but maintaining resilience and national unity amid ongoing attacks.
