In the midst of growing tensions in West Asia following U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran that killed its Supreme Leader and sparked retaliatory attacks, the Indian Embassy in Doha has activated 24/7 helplines and a registration portal for Indian nationals in Qatar. With Qatar's airspace closed and flight operations halted, the embassy recommends staying inside, avoiding travel, and adhering to Qatari security regulations. If Indians have confirmed flights to Saudi Arabia, they can apply for temporary transit visas through the Salwa border; those with valid US, UK, or Schengen visas can apply for visas upon arrival. The embassy is still available to help and extended expired or expiring visas for one month.
