India seizes ₹206 crore in assets from TDI Infrastructure in fraud case involving 14,000 homebuyers.
The Enforcement Directorate has attached ₹206.4 crore in assets, including 8.3 acres of land and commercial units in Sonipat, Haryana, from TDI Infrastructure Ltd. in a money-laundering case tied to a large-scale homebuyer fraud. The company, formerly Intime Promoters Pvt. Ltd., allegedly collected ₹4,619 crore from over 14,000 buyers across 23 projects launched between 2005 and 2014 but failed to deliver homes or commercial units, with delays up to 18 years. Funds were diverted to subsidiaries and land-owning entities instead of project completion. The action follows 26 FIRs and chargesheets by Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing and brings total seized assets in the case to ₹251.88 crore.
