India to restore full export refunds April 1, 2026, after halving them in February.
India will restore full benefits under the RoDTEP export incentive scheme starting April 1, 2026, reversing a February 2026 cut that halved refunds for most goods.

The government is seeking additional funding to support the restoration, as exports grew only 0.61% in January 2026 and the trade deficit reached $34.68 billion.
