Hagersville opens new $15.5M library and community center on Feb. 28, 2026, replacing old facilities.
The Hagersville Library and Active Living Centre, a $15.5 million facility at 11 Athens Street, opened February 28, 2026, replacing aging buildings and serving a growing community.
It includes a 3,900-square-foot library, atrium, program room, and multi-use space.
A $1.5 million community fundraising effort supported the project.
Programming began April 7 with drop-in and registered activities, operating Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The former library, declared surplus in December 2025, will be sold.
Memberships offer discounts and early registration access.
