Azerbaijan says it disrupted an Iranian plot linked to the IRGC targeting its Israeli embassy, a synagogue, and a Jewish community leader, arresting suspects and seizing explosives including 7.73 kg of C-4 and two remote-controlled devices. The operation, allegedly orchestrated by Iranian officer Ali Asgar Bordbar Sheramini, follows a drone strike from Iran that injured two and damaged infrastructure in Nakhchivan. Baku held Iran fully responsible, summoned its ambassador, and warned of a response, while denying claims that it hosted Israeli operations. No casualties occurred from the foiled attack.
