Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Himalayan O₂ Tehri Lake Festival, highlighting tourism, adventure sports, and environmental efforts. He announced a new ropeway, a 15-km tourism road funded by the Asian Development Bank, and over Rs 1,300 crore in development projects, including a tourism village, model village, and plastic waste systems. The festival promotes kayaking, paragliding, and cultural heritage, with over 400 youth training in paragliding. Dhami credited Prime Minister Modi’s support and cited past events as part of the state’s push to become a global sports and tourism hub.
