Sting's live concert at Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum, filmed for ARTE, premieres March 5, featuring songs from his solo and Police careers.
Sting is releasing *The Night Watch: Live at the Rijksmuseum*, a live album and film from his January concert at Amsterdam’s Rijksmuseum as part of the ARTE Sounds Like Art initiative.
Performed in the museum’s Gallery of Honour in front of Rembrandt’s *The Night Watch*, the show featured Sting playing a 17th-century guitar once used at Louis XIV’s court.
His set included solo hits like “Fragile,” “Fields of Gold,” and “Shape of My Heart,” along with Police classics such as “Message in a Bottle,” “Roxanne,” and “Every Breath You Take.” The concert film premiered on Arte’s platform on Thursday, March 5.
Sting is currently performing an eight-show residency in Paris, with a show scheduled for Thursday, and will launch the North American leg of his Sting 3.0 tour on May 6 in Hollywood, Florida.
