President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will travel to New York from March 9 to 10, 2026, to address the UN General Assembly and the 70th Commission on the Status of Women, urging peace in the Middle East amid escalating conflict.
He will call for restraint, adherence to international law, and renewed diplomacy to protect Filipino nationals, with over 1,400 overseas workers seeking repatriation due to disrupted travel.
