NVIDIA may launch a new RTX 5050 with 9GB GDDR7 memory and higher bandwidth at Computex 2026.
NVIDIA may release a new GeForce RTX 5050 with 9GB of GDDR7 memory on a 96-bit bus, offering higher bandwidth and more VRAM than the current 8GB model, according to multiple reports.
The upgrade, expected around Computex 2026, uses the same GB207 GPU die with 2,560 CUDA cores but features faster 28 Gbps GDDR7 memory, boosting bandwidth to about 336 GB/s.
A 12 GB version is possible but not confirmed.
The change may help meet demand or ease production, while a potential RTX 5060 using modified GB205 chips could follow if supply issues arise with higher-end dies.
No official confirmation has been issued.
