Ireland’s High Court rejected Elon Musk’s X’s bid to halt a regulatory probe into user complaints under the EU’s Digital Services Act.
Ireland’s High Court has denied Elon Musk’s social media platform X a stay on an investigation by the national media regulator Coimisiún na Meán into user complaints filed under the EU’s Digital Services Act.
X argued the probe would cause irreparable harm and undermine its legal challenge, but Judge Cian Ferriter ruled the company overstated the risks while underestimating the public interest in maintaining the regulatory process.
The judge upheld the presumption of validity for the regulator’s decisions.
The case is part of ongoing legal disputes between X and Irish authorities, including a separate proceeding naming Musk as a plaintiff.
El Tribunal Superior de Irlanda rechazó la oferta de Elon Musk X de detener una investigación reguladora sobre las quejas de los usuarios en virtud de la Ley de Servicios Digitales de la UE.
