A former Alabama company employee pleaded guilty to stealing nearly $10 million over 24 years using company and employee credit cards.
Laura Lynn Tucker, a former bookkeeper and office manager for Southeastern Pond Management Inc. in Calera, has pleaded guilty to embezzling nearly $10 million over 24 years.
She admitted to using company and employee credit cards for personal expenses, including luxury items, and faces six counts of wire fraud and one count of aggravated identity theft.
As part of a plea agreement, she must pay $9,657,235 in restitution.
A sentencing date has not yet been set.
The case is being handled by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
