The first Khelo India Tribal Games, set for March 26–April 6, 2026, in Chhattisgarh, will promote tribal youth sports and talent nationwide. The inaugural Khelo India Tribal Games will be held from March 26 to April 6, 2026, in Raipur, Jagdalpur, and Sarguja, Chhattisgarh, announced by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. Organized under the Khelo India Scheme, the event aims to promote sports among tribal youth, identify talent, and integrate them into the national sports system. It will feature seven medal sports and two demonstration sports, with participation from most Indian states and Union Territories. The mascot Morveer, symbolizing tribal pride, and the event’s logo and theme song were unveiled in December 2025. The Games are designated an Event of National Importance and follow international technical standards.
