He is accused of stealing over $46 million in cryptocurrency from U.S. Marshals Service accounts managed by his father’s firm, Command Services & Support. The arrest follows a months-long investigation led by blockchain analyst ZachXBT, who linked Daghita to stolen funds via a Telegram account and on-chain activity. Seized items included cash, USB drives, and hardware wallets. Most stolen funds were reportedly returned within a day, but around $700,000 was lost. The case has raised concerns about insider access and oversight in federal cryptocurrency management.
