flag Electrified Materials expands Indiana plant to recycle rare earths and critical minerals, boosting U.S. domestic supply and reducing foreign reliance.

Electrified Materials Corporation, a subsidiary of American Resources, has expanded its Indiana facility to boost recycling of rare earth elements and critical minerals from end-of-life products and scrap. The upgrade enhances processing of magnet materials, copper, aluminum, and ferrous metals, with conditioned feedstocks sent to ReElement Technologies for ultra-high-purity rare earth oxide production using advanced chromatography. Funded by a private capital raise and an Indiana recycling grant, the expansion supports a domestic circular supply chain for electrification, defense, and manufacturing. The move aims to reduce reliance on overseas recycling and improve efficiency, with EMCO expected to spin off as a standalone public company.
