Spotted by a neighbor on March 1, the 5- to 7-foot snake was safely contained by residents and officers using a shovel before being transferred to a wildlife center. Initially mistaken for an invasive Burmese python, Pablo was confirmed as a protected boa constrictor, legal to own in Florida.
