Three National Democratic Alliance candidates—Jogen Mohan and Terash Gowalla of the BJP, and Pramod Boro of the UPPL—filed nominations for Assam’s three Rajya Sabha seats on March 5, 2026, at the Guwahati Legislative Assembly complex.
Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, present during the filing, said the candidates represent key ethnic groups and regions across Assam and have strong public service records.
