Micah Hyde steps down from hosting his charity softball game in 2026 due to legal issues; Greg Rousseau takes over, relocating the event to Rochester.
Former Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde is not hosting his annual charity softball game in 2026 due to legal issues tied to a past third-party partnership.
The event, traditionally held at Sahlen Field, will be relocated to ESL Ballpark in Rochester and rebranded as the Greg Rousseau Charity Softball Game.
Hyde, who retired in 2023, remains committed to the charitable mission of his Imagine For Youth Foundation but chose not to proceed if the event’s integrity was at risk.
Rousseau will take over as host, ensuring the tradition continues with a sold-out, community-focused event benefiting youth programs.
