India's industrial and warehousing market grew 29% year-on-year in 2025, reaching 72.5 million square feet in transaction volume, the highest since the pandemic, driven by manufacturing, e-commerce, and logistics demand.
Manufacturing occupiers (excluding FMCG/FMCD) led with 47% of demand, leasing 34 million sq ft, a 55% increase.
E-commerce took up 7.8 million sq ft, up 56%, the highest since 2021.
Pune was the top market with 16 million sq ft and 86% growth, followed by Chennai, Mumbai, and the National Capital Region.
