Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding at 29mph in a 20mph zone on Old Kent Road in London in July 2025.
The incident, recorded by a speed camera, led to a court-ordered disqualification under the Single Justice Procedure, with Glasner pleading guilty in writing and accepting responsibility.
He had prior driving offences, triggering an automatic ban, and must pay a £660 fine, £130 in costs, and a £264 victim surcharge.
The Metropolitan Police initially attempted to settle the case with a fine, but the penalty points would have exceeded the legal limit, prompting prosecution.
Glasner’s case was one of 1,089 similar 20mph zone violations prosecuted in a single week, resulting in over £157,000 in fines and 27 driving bans.
He led Crystal Palace to FA Cup victory in May 2025 and is set to face Tottenham Hotspur in a crucial Premier League match.
