Singapore launches two major housing projects, including a 60-storey BTO on Pearl’s Hill with 1,700 flats, to boost supply and liveability.
Singapore will launch its tallest public housing project in over 40 years on Pearl’s Hill, a 60-storey Build-to-Order development with about 1,700 HDB flats and 140 public rental units, replacing the former Outram Park Complex near Outram Park MRT station.
The project, part of a broader strategy to boost land use and housing supply, features varied heights, sky gardens, and a 40-meter unobstructed view line.
A separate BTO project in Toa Payoh West, launching in October, will offer 1,600 units including two-room Flexi flats, community care apartments for seniors, and a new 1.1-hectare park, alongside a mixed-use development with private homes and retail.
Both projects aim to enhance liveability and connectivity, with details to be revealed closer to their launches.
