PFEW chief Mukund Krishna and two board members arrested over fraud allegations in UK police federation financial misconduct probe.
Mukund Krishna, chief executive of the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), was arrested on suspicion of fraud by abuse of position, along with two other national board members, in a City of London Police investigation.
The probe, launched over a year ago following internal allegations, focuses on financial misconduct within the federation, which represents about 130,000 officers.
Krishna, who earns over £320,000 annually, and the two others—aged 51 and 55 from Wales and Bristol—were taken into custody, with raids conducted at PFEW’s headquarters and multiple residences.
Authorities describe the investigation as complex and ongoing, urging the public to come forward with information.
The PFEW confirmed the arrests and said it is cooperating fully while declining further comment due to the active probe.
