The Pasifika Festival returns March 14–15 at Western Springs Lakeside Park in Auckland for its 33rd year, celebrating Pacific Island cultures with performances, food, and workshops from 11 nations including Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, Cook Islands, Niue, Aotearoa, and Fale Pasifika. Over 20,000 attendees are expected at the free, family-friendly, alcohol-, smoke-, and vape-free event, featuring artists like Che Fu, Mr Tee, and Jordyn with a Why. Organized by Tātaki Auckland Unlimited on behalf of Auckland Council Events, the festival emphasizes cultural continuity, youth engagement, and community connection, with a Park & Ride shuttle from Unitec Mt Albert. The event runs 9am–6pm Saturday and 12pm–6pm Sunday.
