A 34-year-old Milwaukee man, Tedrick A. Boone, has been charged with first-degree sexual assault with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery in connection with an incident on Feb. 18, 2026, near 14th and Kilbourn Streets. According to court documents, a 20-year-old Marquette University student reported being followed, confronted in an alley around 1:40 a.m., and assaulted at gunpoint before having her phone stolen. The victim resisted and screamed, prompting Boone to flee. Surveillance footage and a subsequent arrest near a shelter led to his detention. His phone revealed searches related to "Marquette student raped" and police dispatches. Boone, who has prior sexual assault charges, is facing serious felony counts and is scheduled for an initial court appearance on March 3.
