James Myers, 33, of DeLand, was arrested after fleeing a traffic stop in a stolen pickup truck at up to 92 mph in a 30 mph zone, crashing into a ditch in Flagler County.
Deputies pursued him, and a K-9 unit located and apprehended him under a home, where the dog bit his arm.
Myers, who has a history of theft, drug offenses, and fleeing law enforcement, faces multiple charges including grand theft, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, and resisting arrest.
He is also facing separate charges from Bunnell police for allegedly pointing a firearm at a woman during a robbery.
Myers was taken to AdventHealth Palm Coast for medical clearance and booked into the Flagler County jail without bond.
