Denmark has installed the first turbine at the 1.1-gigawatt Thor offshore wind farm, a major step toward its 2027 completion target.
Located off Jutland, the project will power over one million homes using 72 Siemens Gamesa turbines, each up to 15 megawatts, with CO2-reduced steel towers and recyclable blades.
