Barratt Redrow names Dean Banks as new CEO, replacing retiring David Thomas, as UK housebuilders face leadership changes amid market challenges.
Barratt Redrow has named Dean Banks as its new Group Chief Executive, succeeding David Thomas, who will retire after 17 years with the company, including 11 as CEO.
Banks, currently CEO of Australian infrastructure firm Ventia, brings experience from his prior role as CEO of UK Construction Services at Balfour Beatty.
The board praised both Thomas for his leadership and Banks for his operational expertise.
Meanwhile, Vistry announced that CEO Greg Fitzgerald will retire in May after leading the company through a challenging market, marked by a 4% revenue drop and a 9% decline in homes delivered, though pre-tax profits rose 87% to £196.2 million.
